The Miami Springs Community Policing Office with the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles offers the following services:
- Renewing or replacing your lost or stolen Florida Driver’s License or ID card.
- Obtaining a new ID card or renewing vehicle tags and registrations, go to www.gorenew.com
The service is only for Miami Springs residents and employees.
The service is available on the second Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Miami Springs Recreational Complex, 1401 Westward Dr.
No written exams or driving tests available.
Payment can be made with cash, personal checks, money orders or traveler’s checks. No credit cards.
Florida law requires two forms of identification: date-of-birth proof and Social Security numbers from parents for a child’s ID card, and two forms of identification for adult residents who are unlicensed. A list of ID options can be found at: www.hsmv.state.fl.us.
